1. Where exactly does the money go?

All donations collected from Loose Change campaigns are used by the Global Network to advocate for the control and elimination of NTDs. Loose Change supports the Global Network’s ongoing efforts in advocacy and resource mobilization to address the impact of NTDs on communities worldwide.

2. How much effort is involved in running a Loose Change campaign?

A campaign can be as time-intensive as you like. It can be as simple as putting out a canister and NTD information in your school, workplace, or place of worship, or as involved as organizing a competition for change collection with multiple teams and prizes.

How long should it last?

We’ve found that the ideal length of time for a campaign is at least one week, but this is very flexible based on you or your group’s particular needs.

How do I collect the change?

That’s the fun part! It’s up to you. We can suggest some strategies that have worked in the past, but you can be as creative as you like with the campaign.

How do I send the money to the Global Network?

Do you provide materials to help with the campaign?

Yes, the Global Network provides a basic starter kit to groups who fill out the online Approval Form and receive approval. Once the form is submitted, the Global Network will contact the group lead to discuss the campaign and starter kit options.

Can I create my own materials or merchandise to go along with the campaign?

Again, you can be as creative as you like with the campaign. We do ask, however, that you run your ideas by us if you plan to create any additional merchandise or information sheets to go along with the campaign.

Do I have to be part of a group to start a campaign?

No. As long as you have the energy to get people excited about the campaign, there is no restriction on who can start one.
